Sandy Wart Post-Op Instructions

WART POST‐OP IN SANDY INSTRUCTIONS:

DO NOT remove the bandage until the day after surgery.
If your bandage becomes soaked in blood then add more gauze and Coban to the bandage originally applied.
Remove the bandage the day after surgery AFTER you have showered.
Before applying antibiotic ointment and another bandage make sure the surrounding area is dry.
Change the bandage daily until your next appointment
Ice the area for 10 minutes and take 600mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours if you have pain
Narcotics are not dispensed for pain post wart removal procedures; if your pain is that bad please go to the emergency room
